Update from
Atoka, Tennessee for July 9, 2005

Welcome to the country! 23 of the Building Stones set off this morning from Chicago headed for Atoka, Tennessee. Bruno Brouwer and Jim Bolhuis had already driven down on Wednesday. Travel went well today and everyone had arrived by 4:30 PM. We had a great dinner at the Walkers, Grand Central for the Building Stones this year. We ate together and enjoyed time to talk about our travels and our coming week. (We have even adopted a mascot for this trip; a stray dog has adopted us at the Walkers.) After a meeting together to discuss this weeks work and plans for Sunday, we were treated to a fireworks display by the Walker Family. These were BIG fireworks! (In Tipton county fireworks are legal.)
Thank you for your prayers, a special prayer of thanks for safe travels. Please continue to pray for good weather as offshoots of hurricane Dennis are heading our way in the form of rain.
We look forward to worshiping and fellowshipping with the church family of Atoka Presbyterian Church tomorrow!
