The Building Stones have arrived in Napa, California!!
14 Building Stones flew out from Midway Airport this morning (Saturday) heading for Oakland Airport and Napa, California. After a smooth ride, we met up with The Dysktras who were already in California on vacation. After collecting our baggage, our drivers from Valley Community Church arrived and we packed two vans and away we went. Our first stop was to a true Californian delicacy, In-and-Out Burger. A fast food restaurant where your choices are hamburgers and cheeseburgers, hence the In and Out, not too many choices. Then we got to enjoy another Californian specialty, traffic. After a longer than expected ride into Napa, everyone was brought to the places they would be staying for the week to settle in.
In the evening we went to Valley Community Church and met up with the Brouwers who had driven to California by way of Arizona. We all enjoyed food and fellowship with some of the members of VCC. After a great evening of talking and planning we are ready to meet the rest of the church tomorrow and get working on Monday.
