What is MOPS?
MOPS is a group of mothers of preschool age children who come together to
celebrate motherhood, meet each other’s needs, make connections and
experience God’s love. MOPS is for every mother who has the desire to be the very best mom she can
be.
What happens at MOPS?
Each MOPS meeting is designed to integrate opportunities for relaxation,
learning, meaningful discussion, and creativity.
Each MOPS meeting will include time for socialization with other moms. We
plan to have a speaker at each meeting, speaking on topics relevant to
today’s moms. A time of discussion will follow each speaker. Each mom will
also have an opportunity to make a craft at each meeting.
Are there due/fees?
MOPS International requires us to collect $20.00 from each mom who attends
our group. For this you will receive one year (six issues) of MOMSense
Magazine, weekly Mom-E-Mails, and a collection of free books and/or videos
designed to help meet a mother’s needs.
Our local mops group will be collecting a small fee (approximately $5.00) at
each meeting to help cover the cost of craft supplies and speaker fees.
Financial assistance is available to moms who may have a difficult time
meeting these costs.
